A Big Long Message to Myself and to You

I’ve been thinking about what I’ll do when I really do come back and I think I’ll have to come up with some sort of plot, with some more character relationships, I don’t know! Elise and Oliver kind of blended together at some points because I never really fully established them.

If I do come back I think it’d be nice to do something more, to have people be genuinely more interested in the characters I’ve made for Foxpond rather than the patterns solely. This is a cutesy blog yeah, which isn’t the genre I’m used to (I think my art blog might be a good indication of that, haha), but I do want to do something more with it. I need to bring something more to my own AC experience to be able to enjoy the game again.

I don’t have access to my Wii right now, but I’ll start planning. And when I do get home tomorrow, I’ll keep at it and possibly get back to playing. Foxpond will stay Foxpond - I’ve established this town enough - but I need to really make these characters into their own people.

I think pumping out those screenshots with little bits of commentary every day really wore me out and it made them less interesting the more that I posted them. I’d have to pace myself.

Also, I do want to apologize for the fact that I keep saying that I’m coming back, and then I get distracted, or something comes up, and I don’t. It’s not that I’ve forgotten about this blog - I think about it a lot. And I want to come back to all of you, because you’re such good followers and I appreciate how much people seem to enjoy the patterns I’ve made. I do want to make more, I LOVE making AC patterns.

but I really wanted to experiment a little, both with a new brush and more with this different style, and I had fun. This is Maggie from my AC blog Newacrecrossing.

I hope that it’s still recognizable as being something I’ve done… but it’s so different that it’s probably not, huh.

Oh well. I figure everyone has to experiment sometime.

Hey, sorry everyone. I’ve been playing LA Noire — it’s on Amazon PC download for 5$ and I’ve always wanted it, so I couldn’t resist. I’m starting up AC to check on Foxpond right now, but I’m not sure when my next update will be. Hopefully soon. I need to check up on both of my towns and clear them up if there’s any weeds, and then I’ll be able to post some things again.

It was my birthday today, but you know, like, I just moved in, so no one remembered or anything. I mean, Maggie did, but you know. That’s okay though, man, I’m cool.

I’ve only been here a few days, and lots of people are moving in. They must’ve really advertised this craphole.
